who gets the better of this trade? am i giving up too much? here's the rest of my lineup: qb-ryan, edwards rb-mjd,grant,white,f.jax,fargas wr-wayne,evans,walter,c.henry,burleson te-gates k-kaeding def/spec-SD
Could use more information from you here. Are you talking about S. Smith of Carolina, not NYG? I'll guess you're talking about the Carolina version. Not sure if you're in a keeper league (guessing not). Not sure how many you must play at each position so hard to answer you however I'll make a guess that you are using a normal QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, K, DEF setup. IF that is the case, then yes, I would pull the trigger on this trade. S. Smith in Carolina is a top-tier WR and with Wayne he would help you greatly. Much greater value than what you give up. Although I like the idea of an Ewards to Evens combo, I don't see Buffalo having an effective passing game with the crap o-line they have in place.
I'd take the trade and set my roster -
Ryan MJD Grant Wayne Smith Walter (if he's ready after the hammy pull) or Burleson (my sleeper pick for the season) Gates Kaeding SD (hmmmm... )
You should take home a lot of wins with this group.
Additional thought. If you take the trade and free up the bench space, go check the waiver for a second Defense. Not sure SD is the best option you could go with. IMO of course.
