so this is the deal(s) offered to me right now: I Give: Cutler/McFadden I Get: Rodgers/Jason Witten/Jerricho Cotchery
or
I Give: Cutler/Portis/4th round pick next year after keepers/2nd round pick in 2011 after keepers I Get: Rodgers/Wayne/Witten/2nd round pick next year after keepers/3rd round pick in 2011 after keepers
Rodgers/Witten > Cutler/DMC . You get a premiere TE and a QB that scored BIG last year and it looks like he's the future in GB. DMC had turf toe on both feet last year and that puts his durability in question, runs too upright to be an every down back too (it's hard to say cuz I'm a poor Raiders fan) and Cutler, well, he's in a new situation so it's definitely a "we'll see" type of deal. It helps Cutlers potential that he'll be throwing to his old Vandy teammate in E.Bennett.. help viewtopic.php?t=442997
thanks for the help tbird! is tbird the only one that can offer up some advice here? sent out a ton of responses to other questions with links in them... help a guy out here?

i think its pretty close considering that ur 2nd rb is a question mark. If you had a better 2nd rb then i would say def yes. Mcfadden might be that guy who makes u forget what a mistake drafting portis was.....but then again its the raiders so there is a chance mcfadden might not be that guy....on value alone i say do the trade....rodgers is sick and so is witten
after reading the scoring i say yes def do the trade to get rodgers/witten......with 6 pts per td for qbs rodgers should be right around manning in the draft.......i say take the value here then work on ur rb situation .....trade portis
I like the rodgers/wayne/witten combo. Portis is wearing down and Betts is getting more carries. I like DMC this year and he's very young, so better for keepers. rodgers is in a much better offense than Cutler, plus the Bears are a run first offense thereby limiting your attempts/completions points. Wayne and Witten are studs. Overall, I really like that trade for you.
