In need of back-up for injury ridden QB!

Postby christensonb » Wed Sep 02, 2009 5:50 pm

I'm looking to secure another QB with Schaubs injury status. Is a trade or FA pick-up the way to go? Here is our league setup.

Start: 1QB, 2RB, 3WR/TE, 1K, 1DEF
Points: QB- 4pts TD, 1pt 25yrds/ RB+WR 6pts TD, 1pt 10yrds (non-PPR)

My Team:
QB- Matt Schaub
RB- Matt Forte, Steve Slaton, Darren McFadden, Larry Johnson
WR- Randy Moss, Marques Colston, Bernard Berrian, Kevin Walter, Torry Holt, Vincent Jackson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh
PK DAL Nick Folk
Def BAL Baltimore Ravens

Also Penningtion, Orton, Edwards, and Hasselbeck are available. I could probebly work a deal for Cassel, or Cutler, but thats about it unless I was willing to give up prime talant. One more quick question, would McClain, L. Moore, or L. Coles be worth the pickup and if so who should be dropped.

I appreciate any insight and will help you out, just leave a link! Thanks!

Hasselbeck is my favorite choice out of that last and should be pretty solid for you.

Thanks, but if I were to grab Hasselbeck who should I drop? Walter?

pick up Hasselbeck for Holt ASAP - he will have a very solid year (if he stays healthy)

Agree with the Hasselback for Holt pick-up posted above.
Holt is not anything near what he used to be and you have good WR depth.
