Just wanted some advice. My RB2 is currently Joseph Addai and I'm a little worried because someone snagged Donald Brown. I was wondering if I should deal him to that guy, or ask for Donald Brown. I would appreciate if you guys would make some suggestions about trades.
MY TEAM: QB - Aaron Rodgers RB - Ladanian Tomlinson RB - Joseph Addai WR - Roddy White WR - Santonio Holmes WR/RB - Lance Moore TE - Jason Witten D/ST - Panthers K - David Akers
Bench: Darren Sproles - RB Domenik Hixon - WR Julius Jones - RB Kyle Orton - QB Donnie Avery - WR Brent Celek - TE
HIS TEAM: QB Matt Schaub RB DeAngelo Williams RB Kevin Smith RB/WR Ray Rice WR Randy Moss WR Anthony Gonzalez TE Zach Miller D/ST Packers K Nick Folk Bench Lee Evans Bench Donald Brown Bench Chris Henry Bench James Davis Bench Jermichael Finley Bench Joe Flacco Bench Hakeem Nicks
Maybe do something like Addai for Ray Rice?
Or Addai and someone for Kevin Smith?
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Leave your link.
I just don't like Addai at all when it comes to fantasy football. He couldn't find the endzone last year. If the other guy would give me Ray Rice for Addai, I would take it and run as fast as I could.
Conversely, I really like Ray Rice this year. The Ravens run the ball a LOT. McGahee seems to be perpetually injured and I have read a couple of reports that say McClain has shifted over to more of a FB role. It sure looks like Rice is setting up for a nice year, IMO.
Ray Rice for Addai is a NO BRAINER. Addai has nothing but downside, Ray Rice nothing but upside..
Rice will recieve atleast 225 carries and 45 receptions this year. McClain is a full time fullback and Mcgahee is just his backup. Remember Ravens ran 595 times last year, even if they run 550 times still Rice is lookin at 225+ carries as the feature back.
Look for 1000 rushing and 400 recieving from rice with 8 TDs.
Addai looking at 750 rushing and 250 receiving with 8 TDs... Donald Brown will be mixed in A LOT and Colts dont run often.. Ravens run THE MOST.

I like Rice as an option too, Smith would be fair as well probably a coin flip over who does better. Rice has some company there in the backfield but Detroit will be behind more leaving them with having to pass later in the game. good luck.

IMO, there's no doubt about it. Last year Addai was supposed to become a feature back. He rushed for 5 TDs all year and got 100+ yards ONE time. Just a terrible showing. If he manages to get the TDs up, he could have some value. However, the Colts have been putting Brown in a lot inside the 10 this pre-season.
As someone else said, Ray Rice has a huge upside. Addai seems to be all downside at this point.
