Another vote for K. Smith, will be a big part of the passing game even if down. Still thinking Stafford is going to be playing really quickly in game 1 for Detriot even if not starting which makes K. Smith even more appealing as a checkdown for a shaky rookie QB in his first NFL game.

I love Rice but I would have to say Smith is a safer choice here. He's not only safe, but there is also no reason why he couldn't have a big game.
