so, i'm gonna agree with you on this one but i'm gonna take it one step further.
RIGHT NOW, drop Branch and pick up Morgan.
NEXT, drop Finley and pick up Bruce.
Here me out, I used a trick like this last year and it paid off. 49ers start season @ Ari, Sea, @ Min, StL, Atl..... Even the best D, Min... will probably blow them out and stuff the run. What I'm saying is, there will be enough TD's for 49er receivers at the beginning of the season. Crabtree, if signed, wont be useful for a long time. Everyone else sucks. Hopefully the only thing you use the players currently on your bench is to sell them for upgrades when they get off to hot starts. I'm just saying you might find Bruce more valuable than you think, and definitely more so than your back up TE for the first 5 weeks of the season at least. Give it a thought?

Well, I just did the morgan transaction...I am gonna sleep on the Finley for Bruce, you're logic is sound i think, it's just that i have almost the same feeling about Finley as i did for Colston his first year (when he was te/wr on yahoo lol). i dunno know, am i being stubborn here? (wouldnt be the first time)
