Three Team Trade - Tough Questions *WHIR*

Here's the trade as it pertains to me:

I get:
Donovan Mcnabb
Brandon Jacobs

I give:
Carson Palmer
Brandon Marshall
Michael Bush

This trade almost seems like a no brainer if this were a redraft league, however, this is a 3 keeper league where we are allowed to keep players at a value 2 rounds higher than where they were drafted. That means next year I would be able to keep Michael Bush for a 10th rounder, and Brandon Marshall for a 3rd. I do have some other players with keeper potential. I got McCoy in the 8th, Moreno in the 6th, Davis in the 10th, Coffee (unlikely a worthy keeper) in the 9th. However, I drafted Michael Bush in the 12th, and for all I know, he could be a starter this time next week. What should I do!?

12 Team .5 PPR
Start QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, DEF, K

My team at present:
QB: Palmer, Garrard
RB: Frank Gore, Darren McFadden, Knowshon Moreno, LeSean McCoy, James Davis, Glen Coffee, Michael Bush
WR: Randy Moss, Chad OchoCinco, Brandon Marshall, Steve Breaston
TE: Jeremy Shockey
K: None
DEF: Chicago

I say go for it!

McNabb is a upgrade from Palmer. But McNabb is getting up there in age. Then again there is the possibility he (Palmer) might come back to his old form...which you'll still get some benefit seeing how you have his #1 WR. Garrard is a Decent backup.

Gore,Jacobs and McFadden at Flex=AMAZING.

I dont see M.Bush taking over anytime soon.

I personally think your WR corps could stand the lose of Marshall, He'll either be a headache for you or he'll do amazing....

Worry about keepers as the year goes on.

Your in turn weakening your WR Corps and getting a Upgrade in RB and QB.

Also you forgot to mention a TE in the Starting line up:"Start QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR, DEF, K"
Im pretty sure you start one right? If you DONT then drop shockey asap i dont think hes going anywhere soon.

Help with mine?

Thanks for the help on mine! Ive never been in a keeper lleague before...but I think this is a good trade for you. I believe that McNabb is a solid upgrade from Palmer...as long as he doesn't blow up. I also drafted Palmer last year, so I might be a little biased against him..but i still think it's a good deal, i mean who knows whats up with marshall this year?

Tough call though...I guess it really comes down to marshall for me. If/when he comes back he could have a good year...but even if he does come back, denver still has qb issues..ugh tough call..i think i would still do it for the sole fact that jacobs is included in the trade!

wanna rate my first ever ppr draft?? viewtopic.php?f=44&t=443153

i would do it. d-mac is a solid qb who is in a throwing offense. the bengals flat out stink. jacobs is on a running team. there's no guarantee that bush will be in any position to get produciton

your esentially giving Palmer and Marshall for McNabb and Jacobs ... forget Bush is even in this.

McNabb currently is better than Palmer IMO so if it were a 1 for 1 deal ... Take it

Currently Marshall is bad news, no one knows where he'll end up and for what it's worth ... he could end up riding the pine for the first four games (suspended) or he could end up on another team somewhere?? Who knows so ...

Jacobs is better than Marshall at this point IMO so if it were a 1 for 1 deal ... Take it

Your WR's are still good without Marshall and with Gore, McFadden, Jacobs and Moreno your set at RB!

Take the trade!!
