keep Portis for third round pick? whir

Postby venus » Wed Sep 02, 2009 7:58 pm

In ten team 2 keeper. Kept players adp determine what round pick they take. I have the 4th pick and am keeping Deangelo Williams who is my first round pick. Should I use my third round pick to keep Portis and have my backfield set?

thanks, and whir

Portis is great value in the 3rd. Somehow this guy slipped off the radar. FF Calculator has his ADP in the late 2nd round but I feel the guy is still first round calibur. What has changed other than the guy getting hurt last year. He was still a top 6-8 back in most formats. I see this guy as a steal based on where he is being drafted. And you are getting him later than that.

I think that using Portis in your third round is very good value imo and you would do it
