QB: Big Ben, Hasselback RB: Addai, Hightower, Sproles, P Hillis, B Scott WR: Fitzgerald, R Moss, W Welker, Avery, Sweed, Burleson, Meachem TE: Gates, Boss K: Kaeding D/ST: Minny
I know, I know, improve the RB. And yes, I went WR for first 3 picks for the killer combo of Fitzgerald/Moss/Welker. Burleson is my flex player until I can figure out Sproles role. I had pick 7.
I'm thinking of trying to get a decent RB for Donnie Avery/Meachem, any suggestions? I know it won't be a great RB, perhaps a decent RB2.
You went one better than I did - only took WR's on my first two picks. Is your league PPR? I don't much care for Welker's value in the 3rd round if not. I agree with your RB trade up thoughts, and as long as you can get proper value, then absolutely take that route. Overall that's a good draft though - hope your QB's stay healthy!

Help on mine? viewtopic.php?t=442974
nope, not PPR. any suggestions on who to target for Avery or Meachem?
Your kinda weak at qb but they should do well enough playing them with matchups.definently trade walker for a decent rb like a k.smith or r.grant type.I'll give u about a 7.
I'm sure you know but Avery is hurt. However, I love his talent. He's an absolute speed burner. I know STL has a lot of question marks but I think he'll be decent. However, I'm not sure you'll get a usable RB in return for him. Hasselbeck may end up as your best QB, so you may want to monitor that situation...The only thing is Seattle's O-Line and RB situation is suspect.
Word on the street is that Addai is going to be no good this year, I had him last year and I agree. His percieved value is so low right now you may want to hold on to him and hope he has a few good games to start the season before you deal him.

Although Avery is healthy right now, he has the "injury" tag on him still. You are not going to get much for him right now. I would say someone like Chris Wells or Julius Jones would be the best you could get for him. You probably wouldn't get Wells because, since he is a rookie, most people want to hold on to him to see what he can do. You might be able to get Julius Jones depending on the depth of the owner who has him. If the Julius Jones owner is stacked at RB, I would make a trade offer. Jones has a pretty favorable schedule against the run, maybe he can produce. He is still young enough to improve. Other options that you might be able to get for Avery include Willis McGahee, Leon Washington, and Earnest Graham. But...I think you might have trouble getting any of these guys just for Donnie Avery.
