Picking A Kicker....Am I Making This Too Big A Deal?

Postby Wags » Thu Sep 03, 2009 9:34 am

So during my draft, I picked up a Robbie Gould in the 2nd to last round after all the other solid kickers were pretty well off the board. I have no problem with him, I think he'll have a solid season, but he shares the same by week as my Defense (San Diego) & TE (Olsen).

I have a few options, I could drop him and pick up a John Kasey, Joe Nedney, Rian Lindell or Josh Scobee.

I could trade Gould for another kicker and maybe a wide-out right now.

Or I would wait until the season starts, and use one of my bench players for bait. Right now, I probably have the best bench in the League with Desean Jackson, Kevin Walter, Larry Johnson, Lance Moore, Earnest Graham, Matt Cassel and Steve Breaston.

I would love any advice....leave your link, and I'll definitely lend a helping hand!

Too much of a big deal :-D

Just wait until his bye week to worry about picking up a new kicker, but depending on who you get if you can trade a K for K/WR I would look into that. ;-D
