8Team PPR LG...Weird Roster...Plz Rate...WHIR

Had my 8-team PPR league snake draft last night. Being PPR, I went into the draft with every intention of taking Fitz w/ my #5 overall pick, and coming back around w/ another top WR in round 2. Inexplicibly for a PPR league, MJD fell to me at 1.5...couldn't pass him up. After Megatron, S-Jax was unbelievably available in round 3. Then, in every pick for the next 5 picks, the value at another position was just too good to pass up rather than taking a WR2. It was weird...it was like most of the other guys weren't taking into account that it was PPR. I ended up w/ 5 RBs before even taking my WR2! I know that obviously my WRs are weak, especially for an 8-team league. Please rate my roster and/or offer any advice for me, keeping in mind that it is 8-team so all of the rosters look so much more stacked than in a 12-team league. And WHIR...

QB: P. Manning (4.4)
RB: Maurice Jones-Drew (1.5), Steven Jackson (3.5), Pierre Thomas (5.5), Reggie Bush (7.5), Ray Rice (8.4), Marshawn Lynch (10.4)
WR: Calvin Johnson (2.4), Eddie Royal (9.5), Antonio Bryant (11.5), Santana Moss (12.4), Percy Harvin (13.5)
TE: Dallas Clark (6.4)
K: K. Brown (15.5)
D/ST: Green Bay (14.4)

8-Team PPR League (1pt/10rush/rec yards, 1pt/rec, 1pt/25 pass yds, 4 pt TD pass)
Redraft
Start: 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1RB/WR/TE flex, 1TE, 1K, 1D/ST

Alright, let's see here. Obviously MJD at 5 even in a non PPR league is sicko.. .let's hope his recent "shin contusion" doesnt nag him...i think he'll be just fine. And SJax in RD2 could be the steal of the draft.....

RBs - MJD/SJax are most definitely your 1/2 - I like Pierre Thomas but thie Backfield could be crowded...I think you'll find that Ray Rice is your #3 before too long, but not a bad problem to have. I'm not big on Bush or Lynch at all and would try to package them up to get Kevin Smith...

WR's - As "thin" as you think they are, these guys are going to be PPR Studs. Stafford/Culpepper are going to lean so hard on Megatron it's not even funny. He's gunna be triple covered all day but they'll still throw to him all day and he'll still come up with the ball...he's just ridiculous. I have him over Fitz/Moss in PPR (only better WR is AJ i think) because they got noone else to throw the ball too (besides Smith, hence the recommendation). Same thing w/ Eddie Royal. He's going to be a PPR BEAST and esPECIALLY if Brandon Marshall can't get his act together. Again, S.Moss/A. Bryant are pretty good, but i bet you'll find Harvin moves to your #3 in PPR as i think he'll be Bret Favres little binky.. I think you're stronger at WR than you might think....

TE: Dallas Clark is Bar none the best TE in PPR leagues this year... count it.

The only crime is that this isnt a Keeper League...you'd be in for a sweet few years.... Unless another team in your league was able to put together a team of Forte/Westbrook/Slaton/AJohnson/Welker/Brees/Witten then you got this thing wrapped up.

Good luck, although i dont think you need it..please help w/ mine!

Honestly,

You have to be one of the stronger teams in your league. SJax in the 3rd round . . . sheesh. ;-D Wyou can write in 2 RBs without thinking about it every week. And you will have a good matchup every week to pair with Calvin. I was going to take MJD #1 overall myself, but drafter right after the leg injury and wasn't sure he would be alright.

You had the same strategy but ended up with a better team than mine. Nice job!

Thanks for the input on mine.
