Trade Advice

Postby em0909153 » Fri Sep 04, 2009 4:17 pm

I am in a 12 team PPR league, we play 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 Flex (WR/RB), 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF. My team is currently situated like this. I had the first pick in my draft

QB - Kurt Warner
WR - Wes Welker
WR - Anquan Boldin
WR - Kevin Walter
RB - Adrian Peterson
RB - Pierre Thomas
Flex - Lee Evans
TE - Zach Miller
K - Ryan Longwell
DEF - Pittsburgh
Bench - Beanie Wells
Bench - Ernest Graham
Bench - Bobby Engram
Bench - Deion Branch
Bench - James Davis
Bench - Matt Hasselbeck

I was offered Tony Romo, TJ Houshmandzadeh and Dominick Hixon for Wes Welker and Matt Hasselbeck. It seems like an interesting trade that I need to think about assuming I can turn around and trade one of the QB's. What do you guys thing?

I would absolutely make this trade!

Romo is alot better than Hass, Welker is great in PPR but so was TJ (and should still be considering the strong preseason)!! and then you get Hixon for free which could replace one of the horrible guys you have on your bench!

Do it now!

Good Job and Good Luck!

I also agree getting Romo is an upgrade and Housh and Welker are about the same. I would do the deal.

It would suck losing out on Welker (I think he has quite a bit more value than TJ in PPR leagues) but its just too nice to upgrade Hasselbeck for Romo. If I were you I wouldn't deal Warner or Romo unless it was a really nice deal however.

If (or as I feel, when) Warner gets hurt you have nothing to fear whatsoever with Romo back there.
