5th pick tomorrow..standard scoring...TE required....WHIR

Postby bgbird68 » Sat Sep 05, 2009 6:26 am

I have a feeling one of these three will be there: MJD, LT or DeAngelo.

I'm thinking of going with DeAngelo.

Opinions?

Thanks for the help.

I would rank them as follows...
1. Deangelo - Seems stewart has a nagging inj and is a bonus for Deangelo owners.
2. Tomlinson - Should bounce back this year, he still has ALOT left in the tank, and a lot to prove to himself from last year.
3. MJD - Ive never been that high on him, but alot of other people are. Without Taylor and him tryin to handle the load, Im not sure hes up to it IMO.

I would have to agree with the previous ranking. D'angelo - im not sure on just because he isn't gonna repeat last years final 7 games for the entire season. But I would say he has the highest ceiling. Lt - did not like brad childress saying peterson was he best rb in the game. He is fired up and I have him in both my money leagues. MJD...same assesment as the previous post. Don't trust him to make it all year. Just got a deep bone bruise on his leg so he is already proven he may be slightly fragile. good luck and if you can help with my Big Trade post. thanks.

You guys are funny. MJD is going in the top three in every single format. He gets a freaking bruise and people say hes fragile.... Hey, guys, HES PLAYING FOOTBALL!! People get dinged up. I agree with the Stewert thing that pushes Deangelo closer to the top. I also listened to Stewert say that he was fine and was going to play in week one. If MJD is there you simply have to draft him. He had a monster year last year when he was splitting carries.

Personal rankings - AP/MJD/Forte/LT/Turner/DeAngelo

If MJD is there at 5, I don't think you can pass on him. Scratch that, you can't pass on him.

LT and DeAngelo, it's all personal preference - in the 2 drafts I've had, I saw LT go 5 (I took him) and D. Will go 6. In the other I saw D. Will go 5 and LT 6.

MJD didn't get past 3 in either.
