Addai or Ray Rice at flex week 1 and beyond

Leaning towards Ray here week 1.

What are folks projections for these two season lang? Pretty even?

I would honestly go with Addai week 1. He appears to be the main ball carrier in Indy at the moment, since he's listed #1 on the depth chart. That may change later in the season though. As for Rice, he's stuck in a 3-RB committee with McClain being the TD vulture. In Indy, they have Addai as the short yardage back. The problem is Rice is that no one knows yet how the carries percentage will breakdown. Theres been a lot of idle speculation that he'll get more than 50% of the carries, but nothing for sure yet. I'd wait a week or two before I'd consider starting him ahead of Addai.

Normally I would agree but Rice is playing the Chiefs week 1. How bad is the Chiefs run D? Fatdale White hung up 150 yards on them in a RBBC last year and even broke off an 80 yard run in which all 400 pounds of him outran the entire Chiefs defense.

Plus, I am thinking they might try Ray out as The Guy against the Chiefs week 1 to see how it goes which is what they did last year (25 FP 1st game).

I agree Addai is safer but I feel like Rice has the higher ceiling.

I think it has to be Addai he is a clear starter and Rice has two people taking carries away more carries more points
