10-team, H2H pts league

(4-pts pass td; 1-pt per 25yds pass.....6-pts rush/receive td; 1-pt per 10yds rush/receive)

qb: Philip Rivers
rb: Matt Forte
rb: Steve Slaton
r/w: Brian Westbrook
wr: Dwayne Bowe
wr: Bernard Barrian
te: Dallas Clark
k/st: Bironas
def: Phi. Eaglea

b: Eddie Royal (wr)
b: Jerrichoy Cotchery (wr)
b: Anthonoy Gonzalez (wr)
b: Tim Hightower (rb)
b: Jerious Norwood (rb)
b: Visanthe Shiancoe (te)
b: David Garrard (qb)

I know I missed out on an elite WR, but I hope I grabbed enough 2nd and 3rd tier guys that I will end up with at least 2 legit receivers.

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance.....of course will WHIR!!!

I have no concerns about your WRs. I think Bowe is in for a big year now that Gonzalez is gone and his QB situation is alittle more stable. Haley the o-coordinator knows how to use WRs. Also your depth behind him is good. You have some undervalued guys who have high cielings like berrian, royal, and gonzalez. Atleast one of those guys are in for a huge year. Your trio of backs is very nice and you managed to land one of the better TEs for this season.

Rivers is a solid option at QB so no concern there.

Overall a nice team. My only worry is you obviously have high hopes for Slaton, and I'm not sure if he will be able to live up to the expectations. Chris Brown is back this season for Houston and I think theyre going to lessen the load on Slaton. That said you still have Westbrook, but then again you did miss out on his handcuff.

I like it, Forte + Slaton + Westbrook is a great trio. I'd see what the asking price is on McCoy though that'd be a great insurance policy. I think either Royal or Gonzalez will be a great WR2, I'd probably start one of them over Berrian depending on the matchup. But good overall

You're team is very balanced. However, i think while Rivers will have a good year i dont think it will be like last year. Dont get me wrong he is a great qb to have. Running backs are very solid but you could use a little more depth. Wrs will be fine and should put up good numbers. Solid at TE with two quality guys.

OVERALL:

Very solid team that looks like it should be in the thick of things at the end of the year. Very well done on the drafting.
