12 team league with all TDs = 6 points(even passing TDs)

QB1 Drew Brees(1.10)
RB1 Brian Westbrook(2.03)
RB2 Joseph Addai(5.10)
WR1 Dwayne Bowe(3.10)
WR2 Anthony Gonzalez(4.03)
WR3 Lee Evans(6.03)
TE1 Brent Celek(14.03)
DEF/ST New York Giants(7.10)
K Matt Prather(17.10)

Bench Lesean Mccoy(8.03)
Bench Julius Jones(9.10)
Bench Michael Jenkins(10.03)
Bench Nate Burleson(11.10)
Bench Trent Edwards(12.03)
Bench Shon Greene(13.10)
Bench Chad Pennington(15.10)
Bench Jermichael Finley(16.03)
Bench Peyton Hillis(18.03)

Made sure to get a top teir QB early since passing TDs are worth 6 points. Depth at RB could be concerning, but I feel like the westbrook/Mccoy handcuff has one spot covered for sure. Hoping for Addai to have a bounce back year.

I like your starters. Very solid for a 12 team league.

I also agree with your theory regarding McCoy/Westbrook.

However, the rest of your bench looks pretty thin. I'm sure that's common in a 12 team league, though. But, in my opinion, it was too early for you to take the NYG defense in the 7th round. I'm not sure who, exactly, you passed up on, but I suspect that you could have added some much needed depth at RB or WR. You probably could have gotten a very decent defense several rounds later and had less to worry about at your other positions. Besides, DEF is kind of like closers in fantasy baseball, every year there are a couple of defenses that come out of nowhere and can be grabbed up for free off the waiver wire early in the season.

On the other hand, well played waiting til the 14th round for a TE (if you miss out on the Whitten/Gates/Clark/Gonzalez run, there is very little difference between the 5th guy and the 12th guy) and waiting til the last round for a Kicker.

As i said, your starting lineup looks good, I don't see any glaring holes. And I don't see any trade-bait on your bench, so I say stand pat heading into the season, you should be in good shape. But scour the waiver wire looking to add some depth in case of injury....and for those pesky bye weeks.

Help with mine?

Addai at RB2 is definitely a risk, who knows how things are going to shake out there. WR trio is OK but I think taking Brees in round 1 shows; you're definitely going to need to him to come up big. I really feel like round 1 is too early for a QB this year, it's too big a cost on the rest of your lineup. Getting McCoy was a big get though, you absolutely need him on your bench. I agree that RB depth is a concern.

I agree with you about QBs but in a league where passing tds count the same as other TDs, the top teir QBs like Brady Manning and Brees are very tough to pass up. By taking a n every week starter QB early i was able to ignore that position for 11 rounds or so and focus on depth in the midrounds.

I'm confident in my starters and drafted my bench mainly based on their matchups when my starters are on byes. Addai is a risk, but at pick number 58, I felt it was a risk worth taking.

I like the Brees Pick...although you are definately right about a possible concern at RB. You bench looks like everyone elses does in a 12 team a couple of underacheiveing vetrans mixed in with a few rookies and some sleepers. With that all being said....I think that your team looks solid. WR's are all solid...I think that you did good. Maybe you should shop Brees for a starting RB and a little lower QB? Just something to think about.

Thanks for the help on mine.

I like the Brees pick in a 6pt TD league.

While you're RB's are a bit fragile, grabbing Mccoy and Greene will definitely help. I think overall you have a pretty solid team.
