10 team, H2H, Keeper league (first year - keep 3).

It's a 0.5 PPR league. 3pt bonus at 100 rushing yrds/rec. yards and 300 passing yrds

QB: Rodgers
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: A. Boldin
WR: Roy Williams
RB: S. Jackson
RB: R. Rice
WR/RB: Fred Jackson
TE: C. Cooley
BN: M. Lynch, K. Moreno, Donald Brown, A. Bradshaw, F. Taylor, D. Hester, N. Washington, S. Smith (NYG)
K: R. Gould
DEF: TB

My main strategy was to get 2 of the top 10 WR's, and a top 10 RB, top 5 QB, top 6 TE (Whitten, Gates, TonyG, Cooley, Daniels, Olsen). Cooley was the #6 TE off the board. I'm gambling at RB a ton, but hopefully 1 or 2 of the guys will emerge as a stud (Moreno, D. Brown, Rice, etc...).

How much are passing TDs worth? I think Steven Jackson will be a fine RB1 this season, and Ray Rice should be a good RB2. You have some good depth behind those guys too so I wouldnt worry too much about your RB situation. Your WR1 and WR2 are absolute studs, and if Williams produces up to his talent level you have a fine trio of wideouts. I'm a little weary of Williams though especially in a PPR league and I think if you had to upgrade the depth of one area, it would be at WR. I also like Rodgers this year, but the fact that you drafted only one QB is a little bit of a concern. Anyone available on the waiver wire to back him up?

So, I'm not sold on TB def, but I don't want to drop them at this point in time either. I'm thinking of dropping a player and just streaming a DEF on weeks that TB has a difficult game. I'm also thinking of dropping a bench player and grabbing a back up QB.

Passing TD's are only worth 4pts, all other TD's are worth 6pts.

So, which two guys should I drop (in order to pick up a back up QB and DEF)? I'm thinking F. Taylor and either N. Washington or S. Smith (NYG). Leaning toward dropping Washington (as he's injured and in a run first offense).

I'm also planning to grab N.O. Def, as they play DET week 1. Other FA DEF: GB, ARI, SEA, ATL, BUF, JAX, OAK, etc..

Here are the top FA QB's: J. Campbell, Flacco, Edwards, Collins, Russell, S.Hill and Bulger. Rodgers (my starting QB) has a bye week 5, so looking at week 5 matchups, here are the best options:
Hill (vs ATL)
Flacco (vs CIN)
Campbell (@ CAR)
Bulger (vs MIN)
Edwards (CLE)
Stafford (PIT)

I think T. Edwards maybe the way to go. Thoughts?
