trade help PLEASE

Postby umjewboy » Mon Sep 02, 2002 11:02 pm

Draft just finished, my running backs are (we start 2) Ahman Green, Anthony Thomas, Duce Staley, and Charlie receivers are (start 4) Marvin Harrison, Eric Moulds, Curtis Conway, Travis Taylor, Antonio Freeman, and Derrick Alexander.
I could probably make either of the following deals right now:

A-Train for Keyshawn or Joe Horn

A-Train and Freeman, Conway, Alexander, or Taylor (my choice) for Keyshawn or Horn and Travis Henry....

stand pat, or do one of those? what do you think?

I honestly would stand pat. I don't think that Staley or Garner will be enough to supplement the addition of a couple of good WRs. A-Train is a good player in a solid system. They play smashmouth football, and he's a smashmouth back. It's possible that if you trade A-Train and A. Freeman for Horn and Henry, that will work. Henry is set to have a great year with a good QB back there with him. It's just hard to get rid of someone with the upside of Anthony Thomas.

Thanks Trent.....I guess I'll stick with the A-Train for now, and hope someone out of Freeman, Conway, Alexander, and Taylor emerges.

Yea,stay put.Your RB's look very solid, with great depth,as do your WR's.There really is no need for an upgrade here,as i'm sure you will put up big numbers with both squads.
