F. Jackson vs. L. Washington

Postby Skins Fanatic » Tue Sep 08, 2009 1:02 pm

Fred Jackson @ New England or Leon Washington @ Houston? We count return TDs, though not the yardage. Standard 12 team league, non-PPR.

Unfortunately these are the kinda questions I'm going to be faced with until Lynch comes back.

On a funny note, ESPN projects Jackson to score 23 points (110 yards and 2 TDs or 170 yards and a TD). :*)

WHIR as always.

Although I love Washington in PPR and ret. yardage leagues...in standard scoring I think you have to go with Jackson since he will be the everydown RB till Lynch gets back. 110 yds and 2 TD's seems a little high but he could get close to 100 total yards and 1 TD.

Help with mine?

I am a Texans fan and I am sure Leon will have quite a few big plays against that not so good defense, but you have to go with the starter and fred jackson is currently the starter.

Please help me out: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=444345

Good day,

I also drafted L. Washington and have no doubt in his ability to post scores. However if it's yardage you are looking for you might want to go with Jackson. If it were me though i would go with L. Washington all day. If you look at the preseason and what the Bills have been able to do VS what the Jets have been able to do it may be your best bet to start Washington. I find it very likely that the Bills will fall behind early and will end up throwing the ball a lot in the second half and probably most of the 4th quarter trying to play catch-up. whereas the Jets/Texans game will be an equally matched game of smash mouth with the Jets leaning on the run early because of the rookie QB. Although both runners have the opportunity to post big numbers I would lean towards the more established runner on the better offense who has a chance to go into the second half in the lead and burn the clock with multiple runs and short yardage screen passes to Washington.

On another note can you help me figure out how to post the link to my roster so i can get some feedback on it as well. No one has posted any comments yet and i just need a little help with my week 1 starting lineup. OK thanks...hope my opinion helps. I'd like to know how it goes for you.
