Howd I do with 12th pick outta 12

Postby robotninja » Tue Sep 08, 2009 7:58 pm

Well as stated I got the last pick in a 12 team league and this is what I did with it

QB: Favre, E Manning
RB: B Jacobs, DeAngelo Williams, D Sproles, Ray Rice, Ricky Williams
WR: Lee Evans, Roy Williams, Dwayne Bowe, Eddie Royal, Chris Henry, Brent Celek
No required TE
Def Tennesee
Kicker Nick Folk

I had talked to the Reggie Wayne owner about possibly working something for DeAngelo Williams but I think I may be giving up too much and I have pretty good RB Depth.

Both of my starters handcuffs got sniped early so I turned and did it to a couple other owners.

Any input is appreciated and leave a link will leave input for others.

Overall, I like your team...very nice snagging Dwill with the 12th pick. Good RB depth too...Dwill, Jacobs, Rice is a nice RB corp. ;-D

I like Bowe alot this year and Royal should be good too. Williams doesnt excite me too much this year, but who knows..he could blow up.

If you're not required to start a TE, I would definitely drop Celek for another high upside WR to stash on your bench :-)

Overall this looks good for a 12-teamer. I wouldn't trade DWill for Wayne. Your WR corps may not have a stud, but you have nice depth. Until we know about how consistent Rice will score fantasy points, I'd hold onto to Jacobs and DWill. I hope you don't have heavy penalties for INTs ... those QBs of yours could give you fits :-b I agree that if you don't need to play a TE, you should invest in an upside guy at that roster spot instead.
