Can't believe I'm considering this, but I'm thinking about benching Chris Johnson (@ Ten) in favor of Fred Jackson (@ NE). I have a bad feeling about CJ.
Am I crazy? Yahoo has Fred Jackson with more proj points!
you may have bad feelings about CJ, but i have worse ones about FJ. the patriots D is no slouch, and the bills O-line is much worse.
play CJ and hopes he breaks a couple of big ones on opening night. you don't draft guys in the top12 to ride pine.
as someone wiser than me once said in these very forums: "start the stud, and he fails, blame the stud. start the sleeper, and he fails, blame yourself."
You need to go with CJ this week. Just as the previous poster stated, You dont draft a top 12 pick to ride pine especially in week 1. GL with your decision.
definitely chris johnson. i have this same dilemma, but you cannot bench your first pick, no matter what.. and he should be used alot more this year for sure!
Im in the same boat two different leagues and I got Fred Jackson in both, one I'm debating Ryan Grant and in one I'm debating Ray Rice. I just dont know about Buffalo and they may get blown out early which means Jackson will be useless in a throwing shootout. hmmmmmm I think I am throwing Jackson on the bench, for now.......
I'm on the boat where I don't think you can bench your best players, especially early in the season. Jackson has a better match up but it just wouldn't be enough for me to consider benching Johnson.
I would not start Jackson over CJ. However, I have CJ and am benching him to start Gore, Ronnie and Mike Bell. Bell has a very tasty matchup v. detroit, whereas jackson has a bad matchup.
You gotta go CJ here. Yeah, he's playing vs the top D in the league, but Buffalo is a mess. The Bills probably have the worst O-line in the league, they changed OC's, and they are playing the Pats. Roll the dice with CJ (didn't Tenn beat Pitt last year?).
