My internet went down three times for extended periods of time during the draft. I ended up only personally making my Rd1 and Rd6-9 picks - Yes, only 5 out of 17. Considering this is a money league ($50), you can understand my frustrations.
If you could please give me any feedback, I'd really appreciate it. I'm not sure really where to go with this team. Several players on my do-not-draft ended up on my team. And, after making my MJD pick, ESPN went ahead and drafted RB, RB, RB, QB the next 4 rounds. I was able to get on long enough to draft Jackson, Ocho, and AGonz, but then internet went down for the rest of the draft. Believe me, I plan on withholding payment to my cable company until they reimburse me for some of my league fee, as my internet has been almost unusable the last few days at nighttime.
Anyway, 10 team standard scoring except 1 IDP. Again, forgive me since ESPN drafted the majority of my players... I have to admit, though, it didn't turn out as horribly as I expected.
QB Romo RB MJD RB Portis RB/WR Barber WR Ocho WR Desean Jackson TE Boss K Folk IDP D'Qwell DEF/ST Philly
Bench - Hasselbeck, Garrard, Thomas Jones, Benson, Sproles, McClain, AGonz.
I currently have waiver requests in for Shiancoe (drop Boss), and C Henry (Drop McClain). I'm also trying to use TJones as trade bait for a WR upgrade. Any other input? WHIR!
Well I don't think that your team is all that bad, and it could be much worse. I would wait and hope that T. Jones plays well early and then trade him, I think that many people are a little low on him now and he will have better trade value if he plays well early. You may also trade and packaging Chad 8 5, or Desean with Jones for a wr upgrade also. Good luck. Oh and you will really need good luck to get the cable company to refund you some money.
i think you ended up with some good players, and most importantly, i foresee some valuable assets on your bench that you should hold off and trade when the right situation comes across.
looks like the jets have a pretty mellow start and first half schedule (good for Jones), as do the seahawks (Hasselbeck). Both of them will be wanted by any owner that has an injury problem. Though you might want to deal Garrard and keep Hasselbeck.
Either way, look good for now... then try to upgrade at WR as soon as you can.
I agree.....the team isn't horrible but for a 10 teamer it could use tweaking!
I would wait as well for a player you don't want to blow up and do good and then trade them off!
The areas you need are WR, TE (and I'm not too fond of Portis though so....)
I like the fact you will get Shiancoe though so you'll be covered there so really only WR's. Yours aren't bad but I guarantee others out there all have the top WR's so keep your keeper guy (Romo, MJD, MBIII, Portis....unless you want to trade him or MBIII I wouldn't be against it, Shianco, C.Henry....when you get him, I would also keep Ocho/DJAX and shoot for other WR's, and K/IDP/Def....who cares)! Everyone else play around with in some trades and hope it works out!
Good Luck!

Thanks guys for the advice. I think you're all right that I need to wait, though, because I haven't gotten any interest from the other owners. I appreciate the help.
