Here's my squad for the 2009 football season. It's H2H, 12-teams, three divisions.
And I will most definitely help in return!
Thanks!
STARTERS QB: Donovan McNabb WR: Randy Moss WR: Marques Colston WR: TJ Housdmendezah RB: Maurice Jones Drew RB: Darren McFadden TE: Chris Cooley K: Nick Elam DEF: San Diego D: Eric Weddle (SD)
BENCH: RB: Felix Jones RB: Donald Brown WR: Donnie Avery WR: Derrick Mason QB: Brett Favre DEF: Jacksonville
I really like your team. Ive got McNabb in one league and am hoping for a big year from him. Moss, Colston, and TJ are all solid at WR. MJD is great and McFadden has a high ceiling. Hope Cooley has an 07 year not an 08 year.
Looks like you got a good stock of wrs! MJD at what pick???
I would be a little worried about your rbs other then MJD...brown should be a decent plug in but i think you might strike gold with felix hes a good running back and right now is splitting carries with MB, if jones can stay healty look for stewart type numbers from last year, 800 yds 10 tds IMO. because of you wrs 8 out of 10.
Youve got a really solid Starting lineup and a pretty good bench as well... ...Felix is a good bye week replacement and if D.Brown gets the starting job you'll be loving life. Your WR's are good enough to fill in when you need them too. Brett Favre is Brett Favre I see big things for cooley this year.
Fear the mighty SeaBengal, Half Seahawk Half Bengal. 100% Bad A.
For a 12 team league, this looks like a pretty solid roster (assuming standard scoring, of course). You have proven commodities as starters, and nice upside on your bench. Nicely done!
I love the fact that you drafted only 2 QBs i have reviewed several rosters and i've seen up to 4 QBs. It's an awesome idea to keep those roster spots open for depth at your other key positions. Donald Brown is a great pickup and i wouldn't be surprised to see him starting later in the season. That will make him a great trade commodity because I can't see you wanting to switch up your starting lineup. Unless of course the raiders find themselves playing from behind and throwing out of desperation too often this season.
I really like your squad... For a 12 team league, you will be in the playoffs. The one change that I would make is your Defensive player.. I am from Diego and love Weddle! However, Rivera has changed up the D and the way that they will be using Weddle this year. Last year, he was in the box a lot and was 2nd on the team in tackles. This year they are going to leave him in the backfield as more of a center fielder, a true free saftey. He might get a couple more picks than last year, whcich was one, but his tackles are going to go way way down. If your scoring relies on tackles as the staple for points, I would look elsewhere. Here is the article from the SD Tribune that I am basing this on. http://www3.signonsandiego.com/stories/ ... /?chargers
12 Team League and you ended up with that squad? Very nice. MJD must've slipped to a late pick for you to be able to get him and Moss. Without seeing other teams in your league, I'd put you at favorite to win it. I'd try and trade Housh or Colston to get an upgrade at RB. Mcfadden has a lot of upside, but I don't think he'll cut it this entire year as a RB2.
very nice squad for a 12 team league. great receivers, and a bench with some upside. barring any injuries, your team should be in contention for the title.
