Wondering what to do...

Postby 204BC » Wed Sep 09, 2009 7:50 pm

12 team - 0.5ppr

I drafted 11th so I have a high waiver priority, players clear waivers tomorrow morning and then it's FA until Sunday noon.

Start:
2QB
2RB
3WR
1TE
Def
K

Only FOUR bench spots available. I currently have J. Flacco, M. Lynch, N. Burleson and I rolled the dice on Jermicheal Finley (I would normally not have a TE on the bench) as my bench players.

Right now my starting WR's are Roddy White, Lee Evans and Kevin Walter (I'm waiting to see on Burleson before putting him in there).

Anyway, Josh Morgan and Chris Henry are sitting there on waivers. Thing is I feel comfortable with Walter as my WR3 but the potential on these two guys is almost too much to resist.

Here's the question, do I drop Walter, Burleson or Finley and pick up one of these two? If so, who do I drop and which of the two do I pick up?

I'm tempted to drop Finley but I wanted to hold out until I see if the hype on him is for real. Starting TE is J. Carlson.

Dropping a QB or RB is NOT an option.

I would drop Finley and Burleson and grab Henry and Morgan if I were you.

Morgan is the #1 WR in SF (not like that's saying much) but they do need to pass every now and again and he will be a big part of that!

Henry has WoWed everyone on preseason and he should carry that over to the season if he stays out of trouble, injuries, etc.... The coach is calling him Baby Moss and says he has the skills as Moss does. He will outshine Coles and possibly Ocho so......

I wouldn't have 2 TE's unless the league starts them both. Finley is unknown really right now but shouldn't be "Huge" per se! Burleson should be the #2 but I never liked him and he is always hurt so not looking good for him this year either. I would much rather have Capt Morgan or Oh Henry!!!

Good Luck!!!

I agree with whippersnapper. You have 3 legit starters are WR. Worst that could happen is they stay on your bench. They both have the upside that Burleson has yet to show.

Thanks guys. Sounds logical to me.

I've just put in two waiver claims. One I'll get for sure since my waiver priority is 2.

First priority claim: Drop Jermicheal Finley, Add Josh Morgan
Second priority Claim: Drop Nate Burleson, Add C. Henry

You can consider this question closed.

Thanks again.
