I'd give up Colston and MoJo for Calvin Johnson and Turner.
My Roster: QB Matt Schaub vs. NYJ WR Reggie Wayne vs. Jac RB Maurice Jones-Drew vs. Ind TE Visanthe Shiancoe vs. Cle W/R/T Steven Jackson vs. Sea W/R/T Marques Colston vs. Det W/R/T Kevin Smith vs. NO K Josh Brown vs. Sea DEF San Diego vs. Oak BN Matt Hasselbeck vs. StL BN Larry Johnson vs. Bal BN Chad Ochocinco vs. Den BN Cedric Benson vs. Den BN Donald Brown vs. Jac BN Le'Ron McClain vs. KC
If it's Non-PPR then I'd probably do it. I actually have Turner ranked higher than MJD in non-ppr formats. I also like Calvin a little more than Colston.
If PPR it's pretty much a wash. You could do it or you could pass. I don't see either side improving much in a PPR league.
If it's a non-ppr league, I'd probably take that deal. I like Calvin more than Colston and MJD and Turner are pretty much equal, maybe even slight edge to Turner. In a PPR league, probably not. Sick team, by the way.
That's a tough one, but I think I would make the deal. It's hard to give up MoJo, but the difference between him and Turner is less than the difference between Colston and Megatron. I think you come out ahead taking the deal.
I think I would make this trade only in a non-PPR. I think CJ and Colston are going to be a wash this year (I actually prefer Colston since he has a better QB throwing) and Turner is a beast in a non-PPR as MJD is a beast in PPR.....so I think it all depends.
Good Luck!

I would do that trade in a second. I think that MJD is way overhyped. He is too small to be the workhorse back and will suffer in injuries. I do not think that Turner will be as productive as last year due to more limited carries to preserve him but I still think you get the better of that deal.
Thanks for the help on mine.

I have to tell you that I really don't like CJ this year with him having a rookie QB throwing to him and the Loins TRADITIONALLY sucking. You know they are pretty bad when they have a rookie QB starting for them. This isn't like Aaron Rodgrs last year when he started his first season and played great. Rodgers spent a few years on the sidelines learning from one of the best QB's ever, Stafford, CJ's QB this season, is a true rookie starting in his very first game in his professional career. He's never seen blitz packages like in the NFL, he's never dealt with the speed of ALL the players on the field, and he's never had to read NHL covereages. Stafford is going to have an ugly season and CJ's stats are going to suffer for it. I predict CJ will be around the #10 WR this season. I DEFINITELY would not do this trade, keep Colston.
Maybe Stafford surprises and does a decent job but history just isn't on his side. He's no Peyton Manning and personally, I'd expect him to do even worse than Eli Manning did in his first season. Eli actually had a much better supporting cast surrounding him when he was thrown in as a rookie and personally, I don't think Stafford is even as good as Eli was coming into the league as a rookie. Stafford just scares te hell out of me and I'm damned glad somebody else took him early in the 2nd rnd of my draft before he fell to me in the late 3rd where I'd almost HAVE to take him and take a chance on him (though I doubt I'd even take him in the late 3rd).

Like you said, the Lions have a recent history of sucking and your point about having Stafford throwing to him has merit and should be considered.
However.......
CJ did just fine last year, when the Lions sucked more than a Hoover Vacuum and CJ had something named Dan Orlovsky throwing the ball to him. I don't think it will be any worse this year. CJ did catch 78 passes for 1,331 yards and 12 TD's last season. The QB situation is about the same, new name, same suckiness, but you would think that CJ actually gets a little better since he's got another season under his belt. I don't see any drop off in production.

That's fine if you want to believe it but I highly doubt it will go that way.
Orlovsky was in his 4th season last year menaing he had 3 full years in the NHL to adjust to the speed of the game, read defenses, and he saw 3 years worth of game film on adjustments to make at the line and during the play. He wasn't a rookie. Stafford is going to stare down recievers, mis-read coverages (actually the defense will bait him into throwing into a collapsing zone where the ball will be picked off) and they will blitz his ass off.
True rookie QB's NEVER do well in their rookie season unless they are elite QB's and Stafford is far far from that status. Elie Manning threw just 6 TD's in 9 games he started as a rookie. That's just 2 TD's every 3 games and I highly doubt that Stafford does much better than this (meaning he'll likely throw arounf 12 TD's in a full 16 games this season) and if you remember correctly the Giants had one of the best defensies in the league that year (lol, the Lions aren't close to that status on defense), and elite RB by the name of Tiki Barber, and even though CJ is better than any single reciever on the Giants that year, the WR and TE group for the Giants was far supperior as a group to what Stafford will be throwing to this year, AND the Giants had one of the better O-lines in Eli's rookie year, something Stafford doesn't have the luxery of playing behind. If by some miracle he actually reaches 1 TD per game average then he'll throw 16 TD's this year. Now if you think that CJ will still approach last years numbers then he'd have to catch 75% of Staffords TD's and if he's seeing that many looks from his QB then CJ will be bdoubled and triple teamed EVERY PLAY. Peyton Mannig is probably the greatest pure passing to come into the league in the last 30+ years. As a rookie he was still viewed as "POTENTIALLY" great and HE only threw 26 TD's as a rookie.
I just can't see any way in hell that Stafford plays well enough for CJ to be close to what he was last year.
