Should I let go of a handcuff? How's my draft looking?

Postby fasttwitch » Thu Sep 10, 2009 8:24 am

I'm in a standard vanilla 10-team ESPN league, not point per catch.

I'm curious whether anyone thinks any of the 4 RB's or 2 WR's currently on my bench are expendable when I'm working the waiver wire.

This is only my second season and I was urged to get handcuffs for both Adrian Peterson (with Chet Taylor) and Brandon Jacobs (with Bradshaw). Do I really need both handcuffs? Do I also need Jamal Lewis and Jonathan Stewart? I'm feeling like I don't have a lot of flexibility to play the waiver wire. I'm especially curious about dropping Chet Taylor and/or Jamal Lewis.

MY STARTERS
QB-McNabb;
RB-APeterson;
RB2-Brandon Jacobs;
Flex-Julius Jones;
WR1-Reggie Wayne;
WR2-Dwayne Bowe;
TE: Greg Olsen;
Def: Eagles; K: Neil Rackers

MY BENCH
I have 2 handcuff RB's (Chet Taylor for AP; Bradshaw for Brandon Jacobs),
2 more RBs (Jonathan Stewart and Jamal Lewis),
a backup QB (Garrard)
2 extra WR's (Steve Breaston and Percy Harvin).

Who is "expendable" on this bench if I want to grab someone during a bye week or buff up my Defense for a given matchup?

Harvin and Garrard can be dropped without a second thought. Hang onto Bradshaw, Jacobs gets hurt alot. You might want to grab Jerrome Harrison who many think will replace Jamal Lewis sometime during the season.
