Trade Pierre Thomas/T. Edwards for M. Ryan/Addai??

This is for my 10 team H2H non-keeper yahoo league (standard scoring). Basically, I am considering offering Pierre Thomas and Trent Edwards for the combo of Matt Ryan and Joseph Addai. Matt Ryan would become my #2 QB, which is still substantial because this league requires that we started 2 QBs every week.

I initially was going to hold a bit on trading for a QB but Trent Edwards' terrible preseason combined with the firing of Buffalo's Offensive Coordinator pretty much makes it clear that things are not good with the Bills' offense and that makes me think that I definitely need to make a move sooner rather than later. I just don't think a platoon of the Edwards/Delhomme combo will cut it every week. I also know that I might be selling a bit low on Pierre Thomas, as he could have a really good year in the Saints' offense (assuming last year wasn't too much of a fluke, of course) but I have good options at RB3 (Ray Rice, Darren McFadden) and I think they could be very servicable in that spot. Addai also could be a nice spot starter (assuming we figure out the Indy platoon situation).



So, what do you guys think about this trade possibility?

I like it for you, you will have 3 solid flex RBs in Addai, Rice, a Dmac. Along with that you get an upgrade at QB which is big since you are starting 2

I like that trade for you...in a 2 QB league, Ryan has great value.

Addai could easily be better than P Thomas this year...both of those guys are hard to predict, and you have other options anyway.

It looks like Thomas is going to be a walking injury this year and well, Ryan>Edwards all day.
