I have several teams, and some of them have given me the same dilemna - do I start Fred Jackson from week one, even over a more established back that has question marks or a bad matchup.
The specifics:
In my money league, I'm startin Deangelo Williams - but who to start opposite him: Jackson or Chris Johnson against a tough Pittsburgh Def?
In that same league, I have the following 6 receivers: Roddy White, Colston, T.J. Housh, Vincent Jackson, Cotchery, and Lance Moore. I THINK White and Colston are must starts, but do you go with T.J., Jackson? or possibly Lance Moore as the third?
In another league - Jamal Lewis or Ahmad Bradshaw as 2nd RB? Washed up starter or 2nd stringer on great running team?
In another league, I have Reggie Wayne, Welker, Driver, and Berrian. My gut says Wayne, Driver, and Berrian are good enough to start and make sure Welker isn't gimpy to start the year. Is that the right call? Or should I be starting Wayne, Welker, and ?????
In another league - Derrick Ward or Felix Jones as my 2nd RB?
In another league - Fred Jackson or Julius Jones (or for that matter BEanie Wells) as my 2nd RB? and Ray Rice or Julius Jones or Fred Jackson or Wells or Lance Moore as my flex? (basically I need 2rb, 2rb, and one flex from the following: Kevin Smith, Fred Jackson, Ray Rice, McFadden, Beanie Wells, Julius Jones, L. Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson (both no brainers), Lance Moore, Anthony Gonzalez)
Same scenario, different league - I need my Rb/Wr/Flex starters from following: Deangelo Williams, Steve Slaton, Fred Jackson, Kevin Smith, Brandon Marshall, Wes Welker, DeSean Jackson, Lance Moore
last league is simple question - Fred Jackson or Brian Westbrook as Flex position?
