QB: Schaub or Cutler???

Postby GeneralTsou » Thu Sep 10, 2009 2:53 pm

Ok its been a while since I've been in here but I just don't know who to start. The Bears will surely be in a shootout against the high power Packers offense. Cutler should throw a ton. On the otherhand, Schaub when healthy is a top-5 QB. The question is how healthy is he? He was a full participant in practice. Who would you start and why?

I have these 2 going with Schaub. He is healthy, the jets to best pass rushers are suspeneded and they have a major weakness at CB.

Give me a hand?

Culer. The packers D is bad and even though their offense scores a bunch of points, their D gives up just as many.

Schaub is too risky just coming off injury and is up against an underrrated Jets D.

Start Cutler and monitor Schaub this week.

Good luck this season

I posted this same question earlier. It's a tough call as both these guys are fairly equal in my eyes. Both have big question marks hanging over their heads. I am leaning towards Schaub this week, but plan on doing a little more research before finalizing. Here is the link to my post and the recommendations others gave me. Good Luck!

The Jets last year ranked only 29th in pass defense, and they'll be without Calvin Pace, who was their No. 2 pass rusher last year. Defensive end Shaun Ellis will also miss this game. New York starts two small cornerbacks, so Johnson and Walter appear to match up well against them. plus they ranked 7th last year against the run. on the other hand Green Bay's defense was terrible last year (altho much improved this year) and Cutler will be throwing a lot in Lambeau to keep up. these first games anything could go, but i like Schaub a little better than Cutler especially on the yardage and even TD issue. my two cents. good luck & enjoy the first weekend!

P.S. if you have an opinion on my starters in my TD-only league that would be awesome. :-)
