Cutler should throw a ton. On the otherhand, Schaub when healthy is a top-5 QB. The question is how healthy is he? He was a full participant in practice. Who would you start and why?
The Jets last year ranked only 29th in pass defense, and they'll be without Calvin Pace, who was their No. 2 pass rusher last year. Defensive end Shaun Ellis will also miss this game. New York starts two small cornerbacks, so Johnson and Walter appear to match up well against them. plus they ranked 7th last year against the run. on the other hand Green Bay's defense was terrible last year (altho much improved this year) and Cutler will be throwing a lot in Lambeau to keep up. these first games anything could go, but i like Schaub a little better than Cutler especially on the yardage and even TD issue. my two cents. good luck & enjoy the first weekend!
P.S. if you have an opinion on my starters in my TD-only league that would be awesome.
