Who should I pick up...if any of these guys is worth picking up on waivers:
1. Michael Bush 2. Laurence Maroney 3. Kevin Faulk 4. Justin Fargas 5. Edgerrin James 6. Earnest Graham 7. Chris Brown 8. Ladell Betts 9. Jerious Norwood 10. Danny Ware
or any other suggestions in a 12 team league?
Or should I just pass on getting a guy all together? Below is my current squad... _____________________________________________________
QB Donovan McNabb WR Greg Jennings WR Reggie Wayne RB Maurice Jones-Drew RB Leon Washington TE Chris Cooley W/R Jerricho Cotchery BN Jonathan Stewart BN Le'Ron McClain BN Matt Cassel BN Devin Hester BN Jeremy Maclin BN Fred Taylor K Nate Kaeding DEF Miami
jesus, how the hell did you draft so poorly in only a 12 team league??? You have 1 RB who is worthy of starting and that's it. None of the guys you listed are any improvement either.
woahhhhhh hey now...most people i spoke with wouldn't have given me an A+ but think it was just over a mediocre draft...so with that being said, anyone else have a useful, helpful opinion?
I would say that Edge and Bush have the best chance of getting touches for you. I would take james between the two. But for now I might just stay put if you're in a good position on the waiver wire and see how this one shakes out. Jonathan stewart will be playing this weekend as well. Good luck. viewtopic.php?t=445252 help me out
Kevin Faulk and Norwood are both worth picking up.
Faulk is a great pass catcher and is a guy you can start almost any week and get decent production (he had 6 TD's last year, and was quietly a top 25 RB in PPR formats last year).
Norwood is also a decent option. He's a good catcher out of the backfield (not as good as Faulk, though), I will turn into a must start option if Michael Turner gets hurt this season (which is a frequent occurrence with players coming off of a 370 touch season).

thanks a lot, great advice...any idea on who you might drop?

I would probably drop Le'Ron McClain and pick up Kevin Faulk. McClain has limited fantasy value this year because, at least for now, the Ravens are lining him up at full back. Unless someone gets hurt, he's 3rd in the pecking order behind Ray Rice and Willis McGahee.

McClain will be dropped...anyone else want to weigh in on anyone besides Faulk to pick up? speak now or forever hold your peace.

Not really. Maroney might be decent week 1 because he'll be running out the clock, but the rest of those guys don't have much fantasy value. The reason a "back-up" like Faulk has so much value is that he's the 3rd down back who catches a ton of passes (58 receptions last year). I can't really say that for any of the other guys there aside from maybe Norwood.
