Wow. If Fitz gets hurt or does miserable, I'm going to start believing in Vampires and Witches, too because this curse it just unbelievably consistant. Never been wrong.

Following Season: Hurt quadricep. Marked the beginning of the mental meltdown.

Following Season: Hernia. Surgery halfway through season.

Following Season: Torn hamstring.

Following Season: Fractured right fibula.

Following Season: Tormented by injured ankle all season.

Following Season: Hurt knee, missed 5 games.

Following Season: Various injuries, lowest rushing total of his career.

Following Season: Barry Sanders was supposed to be on the cover. He retires and EA Sports puts Madden on the cover instead. His finger wagging pose looks ominously like an evil, overweight wizard putting a curse on every player to follow.

That injury looked pretty nasty. In medical school we would have called that the unhappy triad (acl, mcl, and medial meniscus tear). He'll be lucky if it's just a bad sprain.
