Hello all. I need some depth at RB and I was hoping to trade Warner and Vincent Jackson for Kevin Smith and David Garrard. Is this a good idea? My team is in my sig.

RB: LaDainian Tomlinson, Beanie Wells, Ahmad Bradshaw, Johnathan Stewart, Leon Washington, James Davis
WR: Calvin Johnson, Marques Colston, Vincent Jackson, Braylon Edwards, Chris Henry
TE: John Carlson
K: Mason Crosby

Uh, with this kind of a trade, I'd need alot more info-

A) what are the scoring settings for QBs? Going from Warner (lotsa yards, TDs and INTs) to Garrard (fewer yards and TDs, but more careful with the ball) is a big difference.

B) What waiver wire QBs are available?

C) What're your starting requirements at RB and WR?

This is a 12 team H2H league.

A. 1 point per 25 yards. 6pts for each TD. 1 point per 10 yards rushing. -2 for each INT.
B. J. Campbell, B. Quinn, M. Bulger, K. Collins, M. Stafford, and T. Thigpen are still available.
C. 2 RB, 2 WR, and 1 Flex (RB or WR) per week.

I do need a RB, but I also feel that Warner may have a down year. He's getting up there in age and I don't think he'll be able to match last year's production. I'm wondering if I'm giving too much/little for this trade?

Don't do that trade. You have good RBs, only a little thin. Run what you have.

Yeah, I wouldn't do this trade either. I'm not in love with your RB spot, but I think you'll be able to get at least two starters each week. Going from Warner to Garrard isn't worth getting Kevin Smith, never mind exposing yourself by weakening yourself at WR.

If Edwards or Henry pan out, trade one of them for a RB, or package with a RB for an upgrade.

I am in concurrence. Warner is a big time QB. Garrard has upside, but not worth trading away a proven guy like Warner. Plus, you will get a chance to pick up a RB off the WW at some point this year. I wouldn't sweat it.

I think one of your bench RBs will pan out, at least one.
