What do you think Ray Rice is worth preseason? What do you think he is worth 3 games into the season if he's scoring 12 to 20 points per game......1st Rd material?
The reason I'm asking is i'm planning on trying to trade for him tomorrow and and I know the owner well.....he will probably want my C. Johnson or Moss which would make my nose bleed....but I believe he is now only worth a Ocho, Marshall, etc. type WR until he proves himself. If I wait until after Sunday I'm afraid he will want Moss, Johnson, Schaub, Packers and maybe my kicker. This is not my big money league but only a church league ..... just bragging rights on Sunday.

First, don't wait. After playing KC, racking up all sorts of yards and making a number of highlight plays, his price will soar. He gets SD the next week and Cle after that. Yikes. I don't think he'll hit first round value after getting to play KC and Cle in his first 3 weeks, but 2nd round, yeah.
I think his value is above a Marshall. Probably above Ocho, too. Remember, both have their issues, too. In the leagues I have Rice (one PPR, one not), I'd consider a WR barely in the top 10 a reasonable trade proposal- White, Jennings, Colston, Boldin.
his ADP is at 4.05 (fantasyfootballcalculator.com). That being said Johnson and Moss are 1.12 and 1.08 respectively. Rice does have good upside, but I don't expect him to be near first round material. I doubt he will accept 85, unless his\ WRs are terrible and he has good RBs, then maybe. If you post his roster someone can help you make a good trade
Rice does have a ton of potential, even first round potential. But he does have a big chance at busting to. If he struggles the Ravens won't hesitate to scrap this Rice plan and go to Mcgahee who is very capable pro bowl RB....
Rice i think is 1,000 rushing 400 recieving 8 TDs this yr full potential.
I think people are over-valuing Rice right now. I have him on both my squads, so I am hoping that I'm wrong, but we'll see. I just read that McGahee will probably get goal-line carries as well, since Rice is so small (5'7). If that is the case, his value goes way down. If homie is asking something like a Moss or CJ, you've gotta deny.
