I'd take Westbrook over McFadden but I don't think it would be the craziest move if you really believe in McFadden or really think Westbrook is done.

I'm sorry, but is everyone forgetting that Westbrook is a super-duper stud back that catches as well as runs through the defense burly-man style? McFadden has proved NOTHING, other than that his production value should be looked at with skepticism. Westbrook might get injured, yes, he is fragile, but I would much rather have a proven number one pick than McFadden any day.

ya I'd deff take westbrook over McFadden. Only way I would do this is if I was in a keeper league and I had a solid #1 back already and a deep bench.

You have to keep Westbrook over McFadden. Both have some questions, but Westbrook is a proven stud, McFadden hasn't done anything yet.

this is an easy one, in redraft leagues take Westy for this year but in dynasty/keeper leagues take McFadden.

Westbrook will score more points for you this year in just 12 games than McFadden will score in a full season. add in that you will likely play a bench player for 4 games while Westy is out and you'll get more than 50+ points with the Westy/other combo over McFadden for this year. However, Westbrook turns 30 this year and he's never played a full season in his entire pro career. Westbrook will likely begin to see some drop off in his production and effectiveness this season and next season he'll likely be splitting the workload 50/50 with McCoy. In 2 years Westbrook will be nothing more than a backup to McCoy.
