WHIR: Who to start at my flex position?

Postby Bulard280 » Fri Sep 11, 2009 11:08 am

Hey guys so I started Heath Miller at TE just so I had a reason to watch the game last night and I am starting Brandon Marshall, TO, and Kevin Walter at WR, and Westbrook and Tomlinson at RB, now I need to figure out who to start at my Flex position which can be either WR/RB/TE. Here are my options

Brent Celek
Jonathan Stewart
Donnie Avery
Jeremy Maclin
Heyward-Bey
Robiskie
Jamaal Charles

Thanks for the help and leave a link I will help you too.

Avery looks like best of the bunch to me. Also keep an eye on Walter's status, he may not play.

i like avery heads and shoulders above the rest of that bunch.

walter is looking pretty unlikely, so i'd slide avery into his slot, and then start celek at your flex. panthers aren't studs against the pass, and he should get some redzone chances. here's why i'm down on everyone else:

reports on stewart are that he's going to be limited vs. PHI
maclin is a punt returner at this point.
heyward bey is facing a decent pass D and hasn't shown much of anything yet.
robiskie is behind a couple guys for the WR2 on the browns
jamal lewis is going nowhere against the vikes run D.
