Postby jvh4jvh4 » Fri Sep 11, 2009 11:14 am

Standard Yahoo! with 0.5 PPR
He is offering Chad Ochocinco and Brandon Marshall for my Wes Welker.
I would also have to drop someone.

Should I do the trade an who do I drop?

Here is my team

QB: C.Palmer, M. Hasselbeck
RB: M.Jones-Drew, P. Thomas, D. McFadden, C. Benson, J. Lewis, D. Ward
WR: C. Johnson, W. Welker, T.J. Housh, E. Royal, L. Moore, J. Cotchery
TE: D. Keller
DEF: S. Diego
K: N. Rackers

I would do this trade and I would probably let Cotchery go. The ideal situation however would be to set up another trade to upgrade your TE. Maybe offer one of Cotchery and Keller for an upgrade or TE. Or something like that. Does the other guy have a TE where you could make it a three way trade without being greedy?

Help?

I happily accept this trade and drop Cotchery. Everyone loves Welker in PPR, and they should, but you're getting two WR1s in return, so you have to make the move. If you want to upgrade your TE spot, see if Jermichael Finley is on the WW. He could be a big surprise this year.

I guess I'm hesitant becuse I have one of the stronger teams in the league and I don't NEED to make this trade. I passed on both Chad and Brandon when I picked up Welker to add stability to my WR corp, but a two for one is tempting since if one of those two blows up, it could put my team over the top. On the other hand, will Housh be good enough to keep me in contention if they both flop

Dude Welker is banged up a bit but forget that for a second. I think Ocho is primed for a big year this year, and Brandon Marshall is a lottery ticket that could pay off big time. I'd do it. Thanks for your help on mine.

Make this and drop Cotch, like was said above. Welker is solid, but even though he is a headcase Marshall is a beast! 85 is solid as well and has a healthy Palmer throwing to him. If they would both flop (i dont see it happening) Housh will be solid in SEA.

I'd make this trade but I'd drop Royal not Cotchery. I don't think the denver passing game is going to be that good, not enough to justify carrying two of it's receivers. Cotchery is the #1 receiver in NY.......

Take this trade and run. Welker is great in PPR but your gona get two studs here i think ocho will go back to great and marshall is gona prove why he wanted such a big extension.
