I'd go Steve Slaton. I think they should both have similar work loads and yds, but for McGahee has been getting all the carries down by the goal line in preseason. Steve Slaton is safer this week because his role is pretty carved out already.

I think that both backs have been ousted from goalline carries. I'd personally go w/ Rice because of the matchup, but I don't think you can go wrong w/ either.

Im starting Slaton in my league with confidence, although it is PPR, I wouldnt hesitate to start him if I were you. Word is that the Texans are going to be focusing on running the ball right at Gholston.

Ray Rice could be the breakout player of the year, but at this point there is no way I sit Slaton. Period. Go with Slaton.

Yes you can't sit Slaton week one gambling on an unproven back spliitin 2x the carries.

Thx for the help ab

I would not over think this. Slaton is a stud, no doubt about it and there are only 2 teams I would consider sitting him against and the Jets are not one of them.

Start Slaton ;-D

In a PPR, I go Rice

Normally I'd say Slaton...but it looks like he might give up some of the Goal Line touches that made him a star. On top of that, Rice has an unbelieveable matchup. I'd actually sit Slaton this week.
