Slaton or Benson??

I'm a little concerned with Slaton not living up to our expectations in his sophomore year especially going up against an underrated Jets defense. The Jets were top 10 against the run last year and the Broncos were #27. Who would you guys start??

RB 1 - Steve Slaton @ Jets OR Cedric Benson @ Den
RB 2 - Thomas Jones
WR 1 - Andre Johnson
WR 2 - Randy Moss
FLEX - Greg Jennings
TE - Kellen Winslow
DST - Jets

B - Brett Favre (QB)
B - Larry Johnson (RB)
B - Isaac Bruce (WR)
B - Chester Taylor (RB)
B - Rashard Mendenhall (RB)
B - Shonn Greene (RB)

I like Benson for some reason but Slaton is a work horse!! Go Benson

Steve Slaton is going to be fine. Don't judge a player based on pre-season. Give it coupla weeks before starting to make conclusions.

I would start Slaton for sure.

Benson could have a great game due to Denver's poor run defense, maybe you think about sitting Jones in favor of Benson.

I would start Slaton because he is good at football and Benson is not.

Although Denver has an incredibly weak run D, Benson still has much to prove in my mind. I would go Slaton all the way.

NORMALLY... I'd say Slaton. From his performance in pre-season and the fact that indications are he'll be losing all those short yardage red-zone TD's that made im important last year.. I'd go with a BENSON (THIS WEEK) in a perfect match-up for him and no RB competion for touches.
