Advice for who to start in FLEX? WHIR!

Postby jmfreimann » Fri Sep 11, 2009 2:31 pm

I am in a 12-team, PPR league. I've got my entire roster set with the exception of my Flex position for the upcoming weekend.

I am starting:

QB - Hasselbeck
RB - Slaton, Ray Rice
WR - Calvin Johnson, Houshmandzadeh
TE - Shiancoe
K - Bironas
D - PIT

Possible players for ONE Flex position:

Anthony Gonzalez, WR
Devin Hester, WR
Mike Bell, RB
Ryan Grant, RB

I was all set to start Gonzalez, but with the recent news of Pierre Thomas likely out, I'm considering Mike Bell. I did not see much of him in preseason, but hear he was spectacular. And vs the Lions.

Thoughts? Thanks for you help! Reply with link to yours and WHIR!

Definitely Ryan Grant. starting RB on an explosive offense. Bears D might be good, but if they crowd the box rodgers will kill them, making them open up.

yup. Grant is the better option on a very good offense.

I also agree to go with Grant. That offense is too good, and he's getting almost all the handoffs
