Roster review: newbie in 8-player standard

Hello,

I'm pretty new to FF, and ended up 7th of 8 in my league - no star backs for me! Instead I went quick into WR and picked up some best-remaining backs and my QB mid-draft:

Tony Romo
Larry Fitzgerald
Randy Moss
Steve Slaton
Ronnie Brown
Chris Cooley
Cedric Benson
Chicago Bears
Rian Lindell

Pierre Thomas
Derrick Ward
Domenik Hixon
Donald Brown
Donnie Avery
Matt Hasselbeck

Took a chance on Hixon because I wanted someone from the Giants, other than that it was mostly best-of using a tiered system I created (except for a couple mistakes).

How'd I do? Any and all advice appreciated.
