Slaton or Bush? WHIR!!

Postby StrosFan » Sat Sep 12, 2009 5:28 am

I'm in a PPR league. Out of Steve Slaton and Reggie Bush, who's the better start this week?

Thanks for any help!

Bush- Who knows how much Time he will get and with a chance for N.O to have this game in hand by half time they just might lean towards Bell to see what he has in his tank and save a injury prone Bush, Plus with all of N.O weapons who knows who will be in line for the TD's

slaton he will be on the field almost the entire game plus he will get some check downs when the reciving core is locked down

my pick Slaton
good luck
please help with mine

i agree. slaton is the play here. you picked him too high not to use him. jets Def is down a couple starters which will hopefully make it easier for him. good luck

I agree also, go with Slaton. He will need to play 4 quarters, but NO will shut Bush down when they can. With Thomas out they need Bush to stay healthy!

Slaton hands down. Bush in no way deserves a look over Slaton here.

Yes, even with ppr....A source told Adam Caplan of Scout.com that Reggie Bush is not completely healthy.

This goes against what the local media has reported. Bush is coming off microfracture surgery and a calf problem, but most observers have said he is healthy for now. Caplan says Bush won't be involved very much in the running game Sunday despite Pierre Thomas' absence. Either way, Mike Bell is in line for a lot of work. We still think Bush is will get at least 15 touches.

The decision might be harder than one would think; but I think I'm going to have to decide on Slaton. There are a few factors as to why:
1-Slaton get's most of the carries, and I believe goal line carries as well.
2-Bush might get some outside tosses near the line; but Bell most likely will get the goal line work.
3-I always would rather go with the dude who gets more carries than someone in a possible committee.
4- Which leads my to the opinion that even though Bush is one of the best PPR players out there; Slaton also gets a good amount of targets per game, and he gets more carries and possible TD's to go along with that.
I'd go with Slaton on this one. Good luck!

I believe slaton as Bell looks to get most of the touches for NO...although Bush will be active in the passing game out of the backfield
Fortunately I do know what I don't know!
