Bennett or Henry for last WR spot? WHIR

Postby lugmetric » Sat Sep 12, 2009 2:32 pm

So I set my lineup right before I went to work on thursday, and missed out on Henry's injury, and so I wasn't able to start Gage in his place :-/

Which leaves me with Earl Bennett or Chris Henry for my WR3 this week. Henry is a little dinged up and is the third option for the bengals against a terrible DEN defense. Bennett is the second option for the bears against a legitimate GB defense. I think both games are going to be shootouts, who do you start?

.5 PPR, 10yds/1pt, 6 pts per TD. no big play bonuses.

leave a link and i'll help you out as always.

This week I'd go with Bennett. With PPR and no big play bonuses, Bennett comes out on top, because Cutler will need someone to catch his passes, and although he'll compete with Forte and Olsen, Bennett will probably occupy the Royal role this year. I agree that this will likely be a higher-scoring game, and Bennett will have a chance to produce, especially with PPR. Henry, like you said is dinged up, and isn't a possession guy, rather a big-play guy. Although Denver's D is pretty suspect, I'd feel more comfortable with Bennett. You know the Pack's going to put up points, and CHI will need to air it out to keep up, and I don't think Hester's the guy you want to be counting on.

Help with mine?
