I'd bet a lot of money he's not hurt. And I bet just as much that Norv Turner really believes Mini Me was the right choice there. This guy shouldn't have the privilege of having such a great RB.

No healthy players don't stand on the sidelines with their helmet off. Pissed off players do.
I think we see why Norv was hired by his butty GM Smith - he is a puppet. The Bolts get pissed at LT, so they franchise Sproles (sillyness) Now Smith tells Norv to play Sproles more. Sadly, this sort of foolishness happens in many NFL front offices. Could be happening in Cleveland with Quinn starting over Anderson, Detroit with high paid, high profile QB Stafford playing instead of vet Culpepper. Oh, and Oakland where spray-gun Russells is your starting QB.

I've been calling this for months, to the disbelief of many cafe regulars. Sproles will eat, eat, eat his way into LT's production. It's a RBBC here in SD. Each player had 14 touches.

Now, maybe it is because of the injured ankle, but a game winning TD from their franchised player doesn't help the situation:

News: LaDainian Tomlinson, who averaged 119 yards rushing per game against Oakland coming into the game, managed only 55 yards on 13 carries against them in Week 1. He did score from a yard out, his 20th career rushing TD against Oakland. Tomlinson also lost a fumble in the first quarter, his first since 2006. Why was he so limited? The San Diego Times-Union reports that he suffered an ankle injury on the play he fumbled the ball away. The paper reports that L.T. was limping noticeably after the game, but he's not worried about it. "It wasn't bad enough I couldn't play," said Tomlinson. "Toward the end, it really got tight on me."
