WR and RB help WHIR

Postby Buckhammer74 » Sun Sep 13, 2009 8:18 am

I am in a league where quantity is worth more than quality( 2pts per rec, 2pts per carry,TDs still 6)

My problem is that Boldin will most likely not play and Portis is going against Giants D.

Here are the choices to replace Boldin
D.Mason (Balt looks like they want to throw it more and against KC)
S.Moss (Wash passing game doesnt exactly thrill me esp vs Giants)
P.Harvin (Will he get the quantity I need?)

Heres the choice for Portis
R.Rice (Is in RBBC but looks to get significant touches and rec vs KC)

Thanks in advance and remember rec and carries are worth 2PTS!

Definitely start Ray Rice over Portis, I can pretty much guarantee him an awesome week, especially with the matchup

I'd start Mason if Boldin definitely doesn't play. Harvin has good potentional but I'm not sure, he's still a rookie and its Week 1, id wait a little on him. And I'm iffy on Moss for the same reason you are.

Good luck!

I'd also go with Mason and Rice. Like I said in another post, the Ravens will do whatever they want against KC, and they'll use this game as a good gauge to see how Rice does as the starter with at least 15-20 carries, and you can be sure Flacco will air it out and target his #1 WR.

Ok Mason gets the start, but are you guys sure that Rice will out perform Portis considering its 2 POINTS PER CARRY!

Portis could get 25 carries = 50pts

Rice with 15 carries only = 30pts

Rice could be huge in receptions though(2pts per also)

Forgot to mention TDs are 6pts and rush and rec yds are 1pt every 10.

Please convince me Rice will get enough work.

Thanks
