The Boston Globe's Mike Reiss has confirmed the news, which is part of the trade sending Mike Vrabel to Kansas City. There were rumors Cassel could be involved in a three-team swap, but it appears Kansas City will be his final destination. This is what I like to classify as a 'WTH' trade. I mean yes you get Vrabel but he's old. You have a QB in Thigpen who did amazing for what he had last season and considering it was his rookie year, COME ON.

I would drop Bowe about 2-3 spots in WR rankings without Cassel. No matter the QB, KC will be throwing a ton I think.

Thigpen was pretty good last year, so i think Bowes value would be about the same. Read that cassel's injury doesn't look serious.
