Jamal for Hasselbeck or Big Ben? WHIR

Postby Blackhawk » Wed Sep 16, 2009 6:12 am

I need a QB with only Cutler on the roster and playing the Steelers. I have a stable of RB's, but not sure which is the right one to offer as trade bait.

RB's are: (only start 2, no flex)
Michael Turner
Larry Johnson
Fred Jackson
Jamal Lewis
Ahmad Bradshaw
LeSean McCoy

I would like to offer one to a team a little weak at RB for their backup QB (Hasselbeck or Big Ben).

Which RB should I offer and for whom? Who has the least upside for the entire year, but still make a reasonable trade?

Thanks in advance... WHIR.

Could you post the other rosters? It would be helpful to see. What I see now is that Fred Jackson will have much less upside once Lynch is back but I'm not sure he's enough to get Hass or Ben.

Help with mine please

If you can peddle Jackson for a decent QB, now is the time to do it. It's unlikely that the other owner will bite, but you never know. Some people like Jackson to get his share of the pie even when Lynch comes back. People are split on LJ, so you might want to gauge your league's interest with a few feeler offers. But then again, he could potentially be a decent #2 back for you--is that worth trading for a backup QB? You could try to flip Bradshaw or McCoy to the Jacobs or Westbrook owners, but with little buzz surrounding those handcuffs at the moment, now might not be the time. Are there any QBs on the wire? Maybe you can get a decent one for free?

Agree Jackson (and possibley McCoy), hoping that whoever has Hass or BB is weak at RB and needs some help there.
