I would drop LJ for Thomas. LJ did terrible on Sunday and has a competent backup in Charles to start taking carries away. Wells has already dealt with injuries in the preseason, ARZ is a passing team, and Hightower was a large part of the passing game on Sunday. He is also a decent goalline option for them, or was last year at least. Arizona only ran 17 times Sunday, and the carries were evenly split between Wells and Hightower. While Bell did a very good job in Thomas place, I still think PT is going to get the bulk of the inside and gl work when he gets healthy, simply based on his performance last year. Bush is always a threat to get injured as well.
That's a tough one. I understand the other posts, but I'm not sold on Thomas. If possible, i'd wait and see how the Thomas/Bell situation plays out. You can't deny that Bell played very well, even if i was against DET. LJ on other hand played poorly, but against a top notch defense. My advice would be to stick with what you have for the moment.
QB - A. Rodgers, M. Flynn WR - B. Lloyd, M. Wallace, L. Moore, D. Moore, James Jones, G. Little RB - A. Peterson, B. Jacobs, B. Tate, T. Gerhart TE - R. Gronkowski K - D. Bailey DEF - BAL
I'm not sold on Thomas either, basically because of the amount of backs that are fighting for carries. I'd probably hold tight for now, but monitor it. If something comes out about Thomas starting in the next few days I'd drop Johnson.
10 Team, H2H, PPR Lineup: E. Manning - T. Romo W. Welker - R. Cobb - H. Nicks M. Forte - D. Sproles - CJ Spiller - S. Ridley J. Finley - K. Rudolph M. Bryant Arizona - Green Bay
I'd be pretty tempted to drop LJ for Thomas, even though I'm not sold on Pierre quite yet. LJ, though, is not looking great. But then I'm a bit of a risk taker, and would go for the high risk/high reward with your fifth RB slot.
Thomas will come back strong, he is making garbage $ and will easily take over the role. I hope Bell starts again to rest Thomas because Bell will get stuffed by the Philly defense.
I would roll with PT over LJ, maybe. I say maybe b/c I can envision a senario where Cassel comes in, gets healthy, and begins to connect with Bowe enough that defenses have to respect the pass and pull guys out of the box thus freeing LJ up. But for now I'd lean slightly PT's way, but only slightly.
