My Schaub + A. Johnson for his Breese + WR WHIR!

I could possibly make a trade for Drew Breese and Miles Austin for my Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson.

Should i do it?

Passing and recieveing TD's are both worth 6pts.

I think this could be a good trade. Its certainly a fair trade IMO. I think Andre Johnson's numbers will be down this year and Brees should be in for a season. Hes not playing the Lions everyweek so you shouldnt expect 6TDs. I would lean towards yes in making this trade.

Does your league use standard scoring (4pts per pass TD, 6pts per rec TD)?

Cbs sportsline. I believe its 6 for both passing and recieving.

I wouldn't do it. Your WRs aren't that good and by trading away AJ you take a tremendous hit.

I agree with the previous poster. Losing AJ will kill your recieving corp. I wouldnt do it

although Brees is tempting forsure, if you can find a good WR on the wire it might be worth taking a closer look at

I'll counter by saying this: if it's 6pts per TD -- passing or receiving, I think I would do it. Brees threw 34 TDs last year and it looks like he could be on track to do that again this year. Schaub, OTOH, threw 15 TDs last year and has durability questions. Andre Johnson is a premier WR, no doubt, but he still only caught 8 TDs last year. So, even if Brees drops to say 30 TDs, Johnson + Schaub will have trouble matching that number. Plus, the OP will be getting Austin who I think will be a bit of a sleeper this year.

I think I like the trade, but I might see if I could get the guy to give me a little bit better WR to go with Brees.

IF, however, it's 4pts per passing TD, I probably wouldn't do it.

I dont think I would do it. You wouldnt even be considering it if Schaub had thrown a TD pass to AJ would you? I just think Schaub + AJ = more than Brees. Good luck though if you do decide to go for it. Its hardly the worst trade I have ever seen i just dont think I would do it is all.
