IDP league

Hey guys,

I am in a league with IDP where we have 5 spots but no limits on what position..ie) no DL, DB, LB its just D.

I currently have

Otogwhe
Fletcher
Winfield
EJ Henderson
Peppers
Laurinaitis

I have never been a league with IDP before but would I be correct in assuming peppers isnt as valuable given no mandatory DL spots. Would i be better off picking up a guy like Curtis Lofton who is playing MLB for the Falcons where hes a lock to rack up tackles (ie 10 in week 1).

Middle linebackers are usally the most valuable IDP's.

Sacks numbers are hard to predict and Pep can be lazy at times.

Interceptions are pot-luck unless you are named Ed Reed.

If your league awards a point per tackle, then yes. load up on MLB's.

With that said, keep Atogwe(assuming that's who you meant), because the Rams will not have a lead this season and their opponents should run the ball 80% of the time. Their defensive players will rack up big numbers by being on the field the entire game.
