Okay, so I'm deep at Tight End and I feel that I can pick up plenty of good Tight Ends on the waiver wire. I also have Owen Daniels as a backup... Here is my team:
QB: Bengals and Redskins(Currently trying to drop for Texans off Waiver)
RB: Jones-Drew, Matt Forte, Derrick Ward, Marshawn Lynch, Leon Washington(Currently trying to drop for Berrian), Norwood(Currently trying to drop for Ronnie Brown).
WR: Dwayne Bowe, Wes Welker, Derrick Mason and Earl Bennett
TE: Dallas Clark, Owen Daniels
DST: Spot Start Waiver
Kicker: Spot Start Waiver
If I do this trade I'm probably dropping White to grab Leon Washington again if my waiver request goes through(I like his pass catching ability for my PPR) or I'll grab either Brent Celek, Vernon Davis, or Robert Royal who are all on the waiver wire.
What I give up: Lynch who should be money after week 3 especially with his pass catching ability, and my best tight end. What I get: A top 5 Wide Receiver in a PPR league that I can start 4 wide receivers a week.
I say absolutely yes you do this deal, although I am confused about White. Roddy White? If so, this deal is lopsided, big-time, perhaps vetoable, even though vetoing is for wieners.
QB: E. Manning, Bradford RB: Peterson, Best, Tolbert, Starks, Torain WR: Wallace, Welker,Colston. P. Parker, Floyd TE: Hernandez, Davis K: Hanson DEF: Rotating
Do it. Andre Johnson is a stud and his owner is likely overreacting to a poor week by offering him in a trade. Plus, like you said, there are lots of good TEs this year. Lynch is better than fat White but very inconsistent and he might split carries with Fred Jackson. I'd do this trade as soon as possible because Andre will rip it up in his later matchups.
